The Ministry of Education and Higher Education launched a free and intensive academic support program for third-year official secondary school students applying for official exams, in a step aimed at enhancing their readiness and improving their educational attainment before the expected due date.
The Ministry said that the program is available completely free of charge, and includes focused reviews of basic subjects, correction and feedback sessions, in addition to training on official exam forms, and is concluded with a trial exam to measure the level of readiness and identify the strengths and weaknesses of the participating students.
The program is scheduled to be implemented in a number of teaching and learning centers affiliated with the Educational Center for Research and Development, including the Teachers’ Home in Bir Hassan, the Teachers’ Home in Sidon, the Teachers’ Home in Aley, and the Teachers’ Home in Baakline.
The Ministry confirmed that priority will be given to displaced students residing in shelter centers, and displaced people within host communities, in addition to students most in need of additional academic support.
The program continues between June 8 and 19, 2026, over a period of 10 intensive educational days, with the aim of providing a comprehensive review of the core courses before the official exams.
The Ministry called on students wishing to participate to contact their official school administrations to nominate names and confirm registration, or to register directly at the nearest teachers’ home if this is not possible.
